A new venue and a new category will highlight the 37th annual FiFi Awards gala, scheduled for Thursday, May 28. The awards ceremony and soiree has been called for 6 pm at The Unconvention Center, Pier 94, West 54th Street, Manhattan. Each year, the celebrated event, known as the “Oscars of the Fragrance Industry,” honors the fabulous fragrances and creative achievements from the fragrance community during a star-studded party. More than 1,000 personalities of the international fragrance and fashion world typically attend the festivities in which the FiFis are presented by celebrities and VIPs. New this year: a category for Niche/Indie Brands (50 doors and under).

Coty stole the show last year, winning five FiFis, including Fragrance of the Year—Women’s Luxe for Marc Jacobs Daisy.
